Why choose this course?
This is a professional development course aimed at people who have successfully completed the Certificate III in Fitness, or equivalent qualification. All aspects of advance strength and conditioning training are covered, with a particular focus on analysing technique, joint actions, biomechanics and muscle movements throughout power lifts.
Students are shown how to identify appropriate teaching methods, conduct various drills and deliver exercise prescription to a training program.
This is a KINECT Australia accredited course, which can gain participants three points. This course can also be credited towards the Certificate IV in Fitness.
Key Information
This workshop is a combination of theory and practical-based learning, designed to give students a thorough understanding of how the theory components apply to real-life situations. Class sizes are kept small, to ensure all students receive individual attention. After completing this workshop, students will have a thorough understanding of biomechanics and muscle movements in strength and conditioning training.
Learning Options
This workshop is a component of the Certificate IV in Fitness course takes approximately 11 contact hours to complete, through a combination of theory and practical-based learning.
