Learning Options

Face to Face

These courses run over 10 full days over 10 weeks by expert presenters covering both theory and practical components required to become a leading fitness/exercise instructor. Students are required to complete some course requirements at home and/or in their workplace. Students wishing to complete this course as soon as possible, can complete the out-of-class work requirements throughout the 10 weeks of the course delivery (treating it like a full-time course) and therefore becoming job ready as a fitness instructor earlier. However, all students are given six months after the final class to complete the work requirements.

Blended Learning

The same content is delivered, but the theory component is learnt at your pace in the comfort of your own home or office. This is via a number of easy-to-use resources including our online secure portal, manuals, dvd's, audio and visual presentations. For the practical component you join a small group and run through various hands on components including fitness assessments, resistance/strength training routines and fitness appraisals. These sessions are generally conducted over 5 days over 5 weeks.

Distance Education

If you are unable to study at the scheduled times, we also offer flexile options for distance education, so you can become a fitness instructor at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home or office. We provide you with course materials, and our advanced online tools and resources make it easy for you to direct your own learning and meet course requirements.

Part-time

This course is run over approximately 120 contact hours, with 10 full days of classes. Again, students have six months after the final lecture date to complete all assessments.
